The Project — This self-initiated project is inspired and informed by the work of American-Australian photographer Maggie Diaz (1925-2016). As well as being a commercial success, Diaz was a talented portrait photographer, capturing personal and powerful photos of women throughout her career. Diaz's portraits span from the 1950s to the 1990s — a period of significant social change for women everywhere.

Upon discovering Diaz’s work, I felt drawn to these women and their stories. I used my signature line work to spotlight them among a sea of bold pattern and vibrant color.
